I want to tell you about something similar to what helped me have the confidence and self-esteem I needed to navigate the scary teenage years.
It’s cheaper than Especially for Youth and focused on an experience without the distraction of boys! (Believe me, that makes a difference…)
June 14-18 LDS Young Women’s Conference in Mesa, AZ
It’s a unique 5-day program where young LDS women spend a week away from home in a fun and safe environment learning from exceptional speakers and developing their spiritual side.
The conference will help each young woman to understand her self-worth, to know that she is a beautiful daughter of God, and to discover her potential to make a difference in the world.
This life-changing week will empower young women with inner strength, courage, and confidence to reach their potential and find lasting happiness.
With how-to’s of makeup, fashion and modeling, great entertainment, service opportunities, and activities that will boost confidence, increase their relationship with God, and help girls become the best they can be.
It’s put together by some of the most amazing women I know, patterned after, and masterminded with one of the originators of the legendary Academy for Girls (the program I attended when I was 12 and 13, and for which I returned as a counselor at age 18.)
Speakers include:
John Bytheway – Motivational Speaker
Lindsey Brinton – 2008 America’s Junior Miss
Lacey Nymeyer 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist
Vivial Cline – Published Author
Michele Baer – Singer & Songwriter
Alexis Flake – 2009 Arizona’s Junior Miss
Sherrie Nattrass – TV Co-host
Heather Sandstrom – Radio Talk Show Host
Registration closes Feb 15 (or as soon as all the few remaining spots are filled!)
Please mention you heard it from Leslie Householder – this helps my friend, the co-founder Debbie Forrest, know whether my announcement is helping at all
Thanks!
